This black 210 Denier nylon woven fabric contains a white Dyneema® ripstop. The Dyneema® content equals about 9% of total fabric weight.

The secret to the superior performance of Dyneema fiber (UHMwPE) lies in the extremely long molecular chains that transfer load more effectively to the polymer backbone. As a result Dyneema offers maximum strength combined with minimum weight. It is up to 15 times stronger than quality steel and up to 40% stronger than aramid fibers, both on weight for weight basis.

This Dyneema fabric has both a polyurethane coating on the backside and a durable water repellant finish on the face that makes it very water resistant.

Dyneema ripstop is great for backpacks, garment bags, gear bags and other applications where high strength and low weight are a premium.
